Claudia Acevedo is a proud single mother, entrepreneur, and the heart behind Empower Kids Foundation. After raising two sons on her own and building her business from the ground up, Claudia knows firsthand the challenges of overcoming obstacles without a safety net. With no college degree and no shortcuts, she turned determination into success, proving that perseverance can transform lives.
Driven by her passion to serve children who often feel forgotten, Claudia founded Empower Kids Foundation to bring joy, essentials, and hope to kids living in shelters. From providing book bags and toys to building toward the ultimate dream of creating a safe orphanage, she is committed to making sure every child knows they are valued and loved.
Claudia’s journey is more than her own story—it’s a message to others: you don’t have to settle for mediocrity, and with resilience and faith, you can create something bigger than yourself.
As the Vice President of Empower Kids Foundation, my mission is deeply personal. Growing up, I always felt a calling to one day give back to children who didn’t have the same stability or support system I was blessed with. The thought of kids in foster homes or orphanages—facing challenges through no fault of their own—has always stayed with me.
Founding and serving in this nonprofit has been a joy and a responsibility I carry with pride. Empower Kids Foundation is about more than programs—it’s about showing children that they are seen, valued, and capable of building bright futures. Every effort we make is guided by the belief that even one moment of care, mentorship, or opportunity can change the trajectory of a child’s life.
